Soo sad but thanks for letting us know we can reach you if an irresistible urge occurs. I cannot wait to read your book on Nadal. Like others love the title and picture. Also will get the new version of the Master. I concur with you that Tennis and Beyond is a great community. I love reading the comments from others. It’s like a super fun class in college and I love learning - from everyone! Good luck with finishing your book. We will miss you while you’re away!

Excited for The Warrior. Not ready to read The Master as 2019 Wimbledon is still hard to think about. Hope for a future book on Stan!

Marvellous title and cover for the unique warrior. My most exciting and enduring and inspiring memory of the warrior and my personal favourite sparring partner which you will no doubt disagree with is Australia Day (28 January) 2020, the day Kobe Bryant was killed, Melbourne was surrounded by bushfire smoke, Rod Laver Arena evening, Warrior vs local dodger Kyrgios who lost, of course, but it was quite a match all the same. It was packed with Kobe Bryant jerseys and I was courtside screaming for both players. Hope you have room for a picture of them walking on. Two months later, the world closed down.

Thanks for the update Mr. C.

A pause is good, a burn-out is not so good.

Looking forward to all of the udates on "The Warrior", as and when. . . .

Am also looking forward to reading the revised and updated "The Master" and relevant to that I have a thought to share with you

I don't know whether you have watched the #Beckham documemtary on Netflix but the team that produced it have done a terrific job especially in the task of sourcing old, early footage of David Beckham in his career path and they have layered on that an excellent, unfoldimg story.

I don;'t know whether any of the big sports brands have approached you with offers but I believe a similarly-styled documentary on "The Master", spread over 5 - 6 hours drawn from and structured around your book would be fantastic.

Clearly there would be considerable rights issues with the footage of matches to be resolved but a call to the two below might be an interesting starting point; if you haven't already done so.

"BECKHAM, a four-part documentary series from Academy Award–winning director Fisher Stevens (Palmer, And We Go Green, The Cove) and Academy Award– and Emmy Award–winning producer John Battsek (One Day in September, Searching for Sugar Man, Winter on Fire), gives fans never-before-seen insights into who Beckham actually is."

Have a refreshing;ly-good pause.

Best wishes

Trevor Chenery
