After Sinner, a rematch with Medvedev

It was not necessarily the shot that won him the match. Carlos Alcaraz has enough tennis tricks up his short sleeves that he might have found another telegenic way to stop Jannik Sinner in Indian Wells.

But Alcaraz’s full-cut, all-in backhand winner down the line to save a break point very late in the second set certainly came at just the right time.
